At Vanity and Pets™, we are proudly a local, woman-owned business established in 2016 right here in Olympia, Washington. Our passion is to create and bring innovative pet products to the market that combine functionality with a touch of fancifulness and originality. We believe every pet deserves to live a happy, healthy, and stylish life! Driven by love for our special needs pets, we noticed a gap in the market for affordable, stylish pet products. Our founder, Maria Garcia-Rojas, created PUUURfect, PAWSome and GLAMOURous! ™ Vanity and Pets with the intention of filling that need with: •Small-batch, handmade clothes & accessories proudly made in North America. •A focus on affordability – but also usefulness, durability, and of course style! Show your love, not your wallet. •Embracing the unique needs of all pets because what might seem different to some makes all pets perfectly special.
OUR TALE
Our story began with Simon, Nose, Bob, Lilly Bird, and Tommy Lee Love, each facing unique challenges. From strokes to megaesophagus, we learned firsthand the needs of special needs pets and the lack of suitable products and how expensive they are! Today, PUUURfect, PAWSome and GLAMOURous!™ continues to honor their memory by providing stylish, functional products at accessible prices for all pets. Lilly Bird’s struggles with megaesophagus inspired our invention, the megaesophagus multi-feeder, which has kept her healthy for over 5 years. Think of us as your pet’s personal glam squad and comfort committee, all rolled into one!

Hi there, fellow pet parents! My name is Maria Garcia-Rojas, and like you, I understand the unique joys and challenges that come with loving a special needs non-human baby. My own journey began with Lilly, a rescued cat who overcame pneumonia due to food aspiration due to her megaesophagus. From my cat family of nine (all perfectly imperfect rescues!), I’ve learned the importance of finding solutions that cater to every non-human baby. That’s why I started this business – to create a haven for special needs pets and their amazing humans. But most importantly, I get it. The extra expenses, the constant worry, the fierce love that makes it all worth it… I’ve been there. That’s why we offer a variety of high-quality products designed to make life a little easier (and maybe a lot more comfortable!) for your special needs pet. They may be a little different, but their love is just boundless. And here at Vanity and Pets™, we love our little special customers just as much!
